Larry and Marlene McNeill have been in business
for over 36 years. They began with breeding and showing Giant Schnauzers.
They have produced many champion and best in show dogs. Larry showed
and trained the dogs for the ring. In 1970, Marlene started grooming
and working in a large boarding kennel. She was trained for the grooming
and boarding business by Jim Hoy, a top Poodle and Great Dane handler.
With this training she opened her own grooming business.
In
1979, the McNeill's moved to Corvallis, Oregon and started Corvallis
Kennels and Cattery Inc. They were still breeding and showing Giant
Schnauzers with great success until retiring from the show ring in
2000.
Bruce
McNeill, their son, is the kennel manager. He was raised with their
show dogs and performed many kennel duties as he was growing up. Was
very active in 4-H as well as working at a cattle ranch during the
summer. He Also help his mother in her grooming during busy times.
When he turned 18 he went to work at an Arabian Horse Breeding Farm
soon becoming the Foremen.
He was a veterinary technician and horse trainer for 2 years. He then
went to work at an exotic animal farm performing vet duties and
caring for camels, zebra's, kangaroo's, llama's and a wide variety of
exotic birds.
In
2004, Bruce came home to the kennel to work full time for Larry and
Marlene. Bruce truly cares for your dog and cat. He is available to
tend to your pet's comforts and special needs.

Corvallis
Kennels and Cattery has been in business for 25 years. Larry and Marlene
still live on the premises. Bruce is the kennel manager. All of the staff at Corvallis Kennels and Cattery are excellent at
what they do and give every dog and cat lots of love and attention.
